Working principle and characteristics of Peristaltic pump

The rotor of the pump rotates in the pump chamber filled with lubricant, and the hose is pressed tightly by the upper pressure tile of the rotor and the pump housing. The hose is divided into two volume chambers (suction and discharge chambers, as shown in the figure). During the rotation process, the medium on one side of the tube discharge cavity is transmitted to the outlet, and on the other hand, the other side suction cavity generates a vacuum and inhales the medium. The volume between the rotors is equal to half of the volume transported per revolution. During rotation, the pump continuously transfers this volume flow from the inlet to the outlet.
